How do I book my cleaning
What is included in a regular or one-time cleaning, move in / move out cleaning, and deep cleaning?
- Be sure to reference our cleaning check-list for all things included with your cleaning
- Any Add Ons are not included and can be provided on an additional request, which will require more time and cost for your cleaning
Which services do you recommend for first time clients?
We recommend a deep cleaning for all first-time clients, this allows us to spend the necessary time and effort to get all the areas in our home spotless cleaned, after your first cleaning, first time customers can take advantage of our reoccurring discounted cleaning services at a “weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or as needed basis”
How do I request a cancellation, rescheduling or a refund?

What are your hours of operations?
- Our current hours of operations are the following
- Monday and Tuesday closed
- Wednesday to Sunday open from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
How do I update my billing, contact, or property information?
You can update your billing, contact, or property information by calling our phone number 571-640-7579 and speaking to a representative who will help you process it
Do you clean outside a home?
On a case-by-case basis, please get in contact with us to see if can clean outside your home
Do I have to be home when your cleaner arrives or depart?
- The first time we would prefer that you are within your property when we arrive and depart so we can build a relationship, complete our first cleaning walkthrough, and align on cadence for future cleaning, after there is no need.
- If you are booking a move in / move out cleaning, turnover, or commercial cleaning there is no need to be present during first time, we will discuss and align on the above items during our cleaning assessment as part of the quote process prior to completing our first cleaning.
Is Spotless Maid Cleaning licensed, bonded, and insured?
Yes, we are insured in general liability, licensed to do business in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington D.C and bonded.
Is tipping normal? If so, how much?
Yes, tipping is normal. There is no suggested amount or percentage. Whatever feels great to you will be very much appreciated by your cleaning crew.
What is something breaks?
Please call us immediately so we can get it replaced with our insurance. Must be notified within 24 hours of getting home serviced
What if I am not satisfied with my cleaning after they finish?
- No worries! All our cleanings are guaranteed. Be sure inform your cleaning representative during the final walkthrough and they will be happy to take care of things while servicing your home.
- Be sure to outline the key things that need to be done to satisfy your cleaning, if you did not pay for any of those services it will not be a part of our guarantee.
Are your prices negotiable?
No, our prices are not negotiable, we do our best to offer competitive prices & discounts, be sure to take advantage of them
What if my home requires more time and effort to clean than I originally booked?
- When booking be sure to select the right options in your form.
- If your home requires more time and effort, we will reschedule you for a future cleaning with the necessary services at the right price
How do I determine the right cleanliness for my home “Slightly Dirty, Pretty Dirty, or Very Dirty”
- If your home has not been professionally cleaned within the last month select slightly dirty
- If your home has not been professionally cleaned within the last 2 months select pretty dirty
- If you home have not been professionally cleaned with in the last 3 months or more select very dirty
Do I need to give my payment information when I book cleaning?
Yes, to avoid fraudulent bookings we require that every customer provide payment information in advance of booking. You will be charged upon completion of cleaning.
